Dressed Up Shorts

Being a Cali girl, denim shorts have always been a staple of mine ever since I can remember. However,  shorts are probably not the most appropriate thing to wear to a meeting so I tried to make them a bit more appropriate by styling them with my new favorite blazer that Geri designed for Lovers & Friends. I actually haven't heard of the label until recently, and I have to say it's amazing! Congrats, Geri! You did so well with the collection! 

To finish the look and to change things up (I do get attached to my bags and tend to carry the same ones over and over) I opted for this satchel from Coach. I had the hardest time choosing between white and coral but ended up going with white since I don't own any white bags and my other Coach bag is coral. I'm kind of wishing I got both though! haha

Sporty

Being a lover of sports, I'm really into the sporty trend especially when the clothes come in other materials such as silk and leather like these Parker track pants and Aqua top.  When Refinery 29 + Bloomingdale's asked me to come up with my own version of the sporty trend, I jumped on it and literally took it to the courts!

LA Spirit

I've been hit with a flu so lately it's been all about no fuss dressing. I wore this outfit to a brunch and then to the Lakers game that evening although now that I think about it, it might've been more appropriate for a baseball game. I'm sure you all know by now that I'm a huge denim lover and I have a soft spot for my ripped jeans. Every ripped pair I own have a great ripped story behind them. These? They were already slightly distressed but one morning, I was in such a rush to get into my jeans that I accidentally put my foot into the distressed part and ripped it even more. Anyone else ever have that happen to them?

Floral for Work, Floral for Fun.

Happy first day of spring! I'm a huge fan of floral and wear it all year long however, but spring is probably the perfect season to frolic in a floral dress. I originally took this photos for Popsugar + Piperlime but thought I'd share how I would style a floral dress for work and for fun!
